Meljo is a family business; our company name is an amalgamation of the founding members, Johan and Melinda Dyssel.it all began where Johan Dyssel the founder of Meljo Enterprises lived out his passion, having a passion for the industry. We began our journey to bring innovation to the food manufacturing industry; in a tiny garage with a family of three.
Fast forward a decade later. We have expanded operations across Africa, erected two export approved white label product blending and co-packing plants, established ourselves as a trusted functional ingredient supplier and helped countless businesses improve their formulas. As well as value engineering & re-engineering of existing products.
Our goal is to develop the food production industry in South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa, bringing cutting edge technology and over a century of expertise to African food manufacturing. We pride ourselves on customer satisfaction and have achieved reliable innovation by providing technical knowledge and cost-effective manufacturing for food and food-related products. Our FSSC 22000 accredited solutions are flexible and export-ready. We have set up meat processing plants in and around Africa and Dubai, helped Africans assisting customers doing turnkey operations assisting and increasing manufacturing capacity and production flow by developing and blending their products and improved product formulations for major manufacturers. Regardless of the business size, we have customised solutions that overcome the challenges of production.
